For the November 2024 issue of Harvard Business manager (HBM), we had an exciting conversation with the two aspiring journalists Roger Schneider and Gregor Scheu. We talked about demographic and digital change in organizations - the full interview (in Germand only) is linked above.
In a nutshell; why we should stop thinking about age and digital technologies as being in tensions. Or in other words, why it is inevitable for organizations to help shape the demographic-digital change instead of simply experiencing it.
We also explain our research on this and specifically outline what organizations can do in this area of tension (which should not be one 😉).
Image of HBM quoting me as "the claim that older employees are fundamentally overwhelmed by modern technology simply is wrong".
